US, Australian filmmakers die in helicopter crash (AP)
AP - Award-winning American cinematographer Mike deGruy and Australian television writer-producer Andrew Wight have died in a helicopter crash in eastern Australia, their employer National Geographic said Sunday.

Relax, Joe Francis! No Girls Gone Wild Are Coming To The Super Bowl!
We doubted that this would even cause her to bat an eyelash in the first place! Joe Francis is apparently none too pleased with Madonna for using his trademarked title Girls Gone Wild as a song on her new album, MDNA , without his consent, and fired off a cease-and-desist letter to the pop icon, essentially banning her from performing the track during her halftime performance at the Super Bowl! However, a rep for Madge has replied that luckily, the song is NOT part of her set list! Phew! Now we wonder if they’re still going to try and get money from her regarding the usage of the title on the album! What do U think?? Does Joe have a case against the Queen? [ Images via WENN .]

First Look! A Flying Monkey From Oz: The Great & Powerful!
Wow! This gets us pretty excited for this flick! Disney ’s prequel to the Wizard of Oz , titled Oz: The Great and Powerful , which stars James Franco as the man himself, is well into production, and a Perezcious reader sent us this really neat photo that an extra posted on Facebook - with a flying monkey! Ch-ch-check it out (above)! Pretty cool make-up and effects, right? Not to mention the wingspan on that thing! We can’t imagine how cool it’s going to look in the finished product!

Suborgatory Star Replaces Lily Collins In Evil Dead Reboot!
The Evil Dead remake has its replacement star! Jane Levy , whom you may recognize from the ABC sitcom Suborgatory , is reportedly in negotiations to take over for Lily Collins , who exited production of the Fede Alvarez -directed feature, as Mia , a young woman recovering from a recent overdose and heading to the remote cabin in the woods with five friends and - yeah, you know the drill! Between this, Sam Raimi producing, and Diablo Cody revising the latest draft of the script, we imagine this could be one of those rare remakes that does the original justice! At least we hope so, anyway! What do U think?? Will U be catching this when it drops April 12th, 2013?? [ Image via WENN .]
